Poing, 19 December 2017 – Udo Zimmer (55) will take the chair of the Management Board of REMA TIP TOP AG, a globally operating system provider of services and products in the field of conveying and treatment technology as well as tyre repair, effective January 1, 2018. He will also retain his responsibility for the financial department, which he has been holding since March 2016. The Management Board will be reduced to three members following the departure of the previous CEO Thorsten Wach.

The Supervisory Board of REMA TIP TOP AG has appointed CFO Udo Zimmer (55) CEO effective January 1, 2018. He had held this position already substitutionally following the departure of CEO Thorsten Wach from the active work in the Management Board in the third quarter of 2017.

In the new organizational chart, the divisions Compliance, Legal, Corporate Governance, and Communication report to CEO Udo Zimmer, while Sales Automotive, Development, and Production report to CTO Patric Scheungraber. CBDO Michael Labbé will be responsible for the sales activities of the Material Processing, Belting and Surface Protection divisions, and Marketing.

Udo Zimmer joined REMA TIP TOP as CFO in spring 2016. Previously, he worked as CFO of several industrial companies between 2007 and 2015. Between 1996 and 2007, he was CFO of AUGUSTA Technologie AG.
