Poing near Munich, February 13, 2023. REMA TIP TOP AG acquires Abracs Ltd., a leading brand in the UK market for abrasive and power tool accessories. With the acquisition REMA TIP TOP will bring a wide range of new products to existing automotive customers as well as opening up new markets in the UK and beyond.

Founded in 1989, Abracs is a UK-based company specialising in the manufacture and distribution of branded abrasive, cutting and drilling products - especially grinders, blades and wire brushes for automotive applications. Abracs supplies to domestic and international markets via industrial and construction resale channels. With the acquisition in 2023, Abracs will become part of REMA TIP TOP's Automotive division.

The REMA TIP TOP Group already operates a number of sites in the UK and Ireland. The acquisition of Abracs adds another site to further drive the market development and growth in the UK. “Abracs and its subsidiaries have enjoyed significant growth levels and success over the last few years and I’m looking forward to continuing this with REMA TIP TOP,” Rob Jeffery, Group Managing Director at Abracs, comments on the acquisition.
